My Lil' Pumpkin

So, I finally did get around to taking some pics of the baby..but not the ones for the announcement, lol. Maybe tomorrow. I'm still scrappin' like crazy, so all week I'll be updating my gallery. Oh yeah, did you see the 2peas Christmas Card Classes? They're absolutely gorgeous! Can't wait to try some. Anyway, I really gotta go and get some clothes washed. Scrapping Fool

Yep, that's me. I've been making cards, sewing, and creating some lil' felt goodies. Ahhhhh, I love lazy weekends. Just staying home, watching movies, creating, playing games. Love it. I'm gonna work on putting some more stuff up on my etsy, 'cause well I needs me some moolah. For what, you ask. Well, for some kits I'm wanting and to take this class.
Anyway, here's some stuff I've made in the last 24 hours, lol.

He's Home!!!

Well, he's been home for a week today. I love having him home. I missed him soo much. It's been kinda hectic, though. 2 of the babies have a stomach virus...so there's been a lot of cleaning, bathing, and disinfecting going on here. Looks like it's pretty much over though. Thank you sweet Jesus. I've been meaning to get some good pics of Jake for his birth announcement...but you know..life happens. This week they will be taken and birth announcements will be done. For sure. If all my drama wasn't enough..I've also been sick worrying about all my family in Houston and surrounding areas. Some evacuated...most stayed. No power..some damages...uuggghhh. I still haven't been able to get ahold of my dad since Sat. and I haven't heard from my oldest brother in awhile. Just praying....with all my might that everything's okay....with everybody. Well, I'm gonna take advantage that the kids are calm and Mars is watching the Cowboys game so I can get some scrapping done. Til' later. Peace.

Our Baby, Jake Eden

So, after a very difficult pregnancy and about a week of so of efforts to try to stop labor, I had an emergency c-section. My lil' baby was born on August 26, 2008 at 5:13 pm weighing 4 lbs. 13.8 oz. He's still in NICU since he was a preemie, but he's doing well..and we're praying and hoping that he'll be home VERY soon. I could talk or write for hours about all the drama, pain, frustration, joy, relief..everything that has happened in the last couple weeks...but I've chosen to just write all that down in a special lil' mini album for my baby boy. Yay!!! a new scrapping subject!! Lol. Well, hope all is well with everyone out in blogland. Take care. Peace and love.
