Life's been pretty hectic since the baby's been boring. We're all trying to adjust to having a new member of the family. It' s been good but oh so tiring. Anyway, since Jake and Elyse both have August birthdays and I could barely walk in August, I decided to do it after the baby was born. So, today we had a lil' joint birthday party for them. I got lots of cute ideas thanks to Martha Stewart. Jakey turned 1 and Ellyse turned 2, so I appliqued some onesies with monkeys for them to wear. Aren't those monkey cakes the cutest? :)
I could not find a freeakin' monkey pinata, so I found this.....and I have no idea what it is but it's the closest thing I could find that kinda resembled one..so whatever. In this pic...Jakey and Elyse are wondering what the hell that is, lol. Too funny.
Cute and simple lil' favor bags filled with all sorts of goodies.
All in all, it was a good day...things ran smoothly and most importantly the kids had fun. :)

aww how cute, everything looks soo cute. The Cakes look way different then what I thought (It look better) That looks hard to do. The piñata doesn't look that bad, it kinda does look like a monkey (LOL) Good job bili ;)
